The Library, in collaboration with the
English Department, has added the Accelerated Reading
Program to encourage our cadets to read for pleasure
beyond their required classroom assignments. We have
selected books for every class level to include the
classics, reading for the college bound, and award
winners as well as contemporary authors and topics.
Some of our current "Best Reads" selected by the
students are A Series of Unfortunate Events by
Lemony Snicket, Artemis Fowl and the sequels
by Eoin Colfer, The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown,
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, and The Diary
of Anne Frank. |
