Your education doesn’t have to stop when the summer starts. Take advantage of the Florida Air Academy six week non-military summer school programs to obtain needed academic credit or to preview next year’s classes. There's even an opportunity to enroll in some of our summer programs for high school students like Flying, SCUBA, Martial Arts, SAT Prep, or Computers.

Fun In and Out of School
High school summer programs need not be all work and no play. Because of our relative proximity to one of Florida's most popular tourist attractions, students can enjoy weekly trips to Orlando area attractions such as Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and Wet & Wild. What other summer school programs can allow kids to participate in intramural athletics, visit the beach, and enjoy many other special activities.

Summer programs for high school students at FAA is an ideal blend of academics and fun! Whatever summer school programs you choose to explore, you can take advantage of our well-equipped facilities and our dedicated, professional and caring staff. In addition to modern, air-conditioned accommodations, our grounds include athletic fields, tennis courts, a large swimming pool, an air-conditioned gymnasium and weight training facility. Adjacent to the campus is a challenging 18-hole golf course, and less than one mile away is the Melbourne International Airport, home of our flight training program.

ACADEMIC PROGRAMS

JUNIOR HIGH (6th, 7th, and 8th Grades)
All four subjects are taken for credit or previewed:
English
Mathematics
Science
History
International students may also enroll in English as a Second Language (ESL).

HIGH SCHOOL (9th - 12th Grades)
One subject is taken for full-credit:
English: English 1,2,or 3
Mathematics: Algebra 1, Geometry, or Algebra 2
Social Studies: World History or American History
SAT Prep Course: Verbal and Math
ESL (English As A Second Language)
Computers Applications

At Florida Air Academy, there’s more to our school than just academics. A full program of sports and recreational activities complements the classroom learning experience, and helps make education fun.

Summer Session is a great time to check out our program. It provides an opportunity to preview the boarding school lifestyle and prepare for the coming Fall term. Many students who attend our Summer Session enjoy it so much they return for the regular school year.
