The English Immersion program is designed
to prepare students for our regular college prep
curriculum. This program will provide students with
the English skills needed to take courses such as
American Literature, American History, and other
English based courses required for acceptance into
competitive American Universities. This program is
part of the overall college prep/military program
at Florida Air Academy and does include all of the
structure and discipline of our regular program.

Students are given a placement
test and
are grouped according to level. |

Emphasis is put on Speaking as well as
Reading, Writing and Listening. |

As early as the first week students are
immersed in language and culture with
outings that are specific and task oriented. |

Students take field trips which gives them
a
chance to practice their skills in real life
situations as well as living the culture. |

Students share a room with native
English speakers. |
