The Varsity Falcon Basketball team has been very successful the last several years.  We have won the 3A State Championship in 1998, 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2007.  In addition, the Varsity Falcons were the third team in the history of the State of Florida and the first in Brevard County to finish the season undefeated in 2001.  Our final record that year was 31-0; an outstanding perfect record.

Coach Aubin Goporo has been twice-named "Brevard County Basketball Coach of the Year" and places more value on his team's attitude and sportsmanship than the win-loss record.

Florida Air Academy's basketball program is available to both our boarding school and private day students. We play basketball at the junior high and junior varsity levels, and holds intramural competitions during the year. With the addition of female cadets, we now have a very successful female varsity program as well.
