Welcome to
Summer school at FAA includes many opportunities for students to visit local educational attractions. Each week, the parent newsletter will include a list of the week’s school field trips. Please contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions about the scheduled field trips. Students in 6th grade and ESOL will take one field trip per week.
6/22: Grade 6 will be visiting The Enchanted Forest
ESOL will tour the Melbourne Mall
6/26: Grades 6 through 8 along with SAT Prep, ESOL and high school English classes will visit the Brevard Zoo
ADMISSIONS:
Next Open House is July 8 at 12:00 noon. We will be located in the Dining Hall. If you have any friends or relatives with children who might be a good addition to the cadet corps of FAA, please invite them to this! Enroll now for the fall!
STUDENT REFERRALS
As alumni, parents and cadets know, FAA is an excellent choice for a high school education. If you refer a student to us and your potential cadet enrolls in the Academy and completes one semester, you are eligible to earn a gift card from Best Buy. GUIDANCE
The FAA 2007 Summer Session is off to a great start! The adjustment process for our new students has gone extremely well during the early and very critical days of this summer session. Classes are in full swing and a few of our students are still getting used to having daily academic work over the Summer!
Please be reminded that there is tutoring
in Math and
Also, please understand that each day of
Summer classes is the equivalent of one week of class during the regular school
year. Thus, unnecessary absences are a real detriment to the academic success
of your son or daughter during our Summer Session.

SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Welcome aboard, parents! Summer school is
only six weeks long and every day is critical. If you would like your son or
daughter to participate in any of FAA's special activities, please
contact Accounting as quickly as possible.
Martial Arts has already started but we will accept
late starts into our Tuesday/Thursday classes.
Driver's education starts this Sunday with a mandatory 4-hour
class required for a learner's permit, with the regular classes starting on
Monday, June 25th. No late starts allowed in this course, so please plan
accordingly.
SCUBA will happen in July so there is still time to sign up and
additional signatures will be required for that program.
Flight has openings for our 3:30 slots, after the school day, for
the entry into the wonderful world of flight. Once again, more paperwork will
be required to start flying but the first step is to contact the Accounting
department.
