Campus at Night

International Applications

Each year, a variety of applicants from outside the United States are admitted to the Academy. In addition to the below criteria, International Applicants must have a reasonable command of the English language or they must attend the Academy’s Summer Session prior to Fall enrollment.

Admission to Florida Air Academy comes after a formal review process by the Admissions Committee.  Grades and transcripts from previous schools are required to determine eligibility for enrollment. Letters of reference from Math and English teachers are also required.

A visit to the campus for a personal interview is required. However, a telephone interview may be substituted for the personal interview in some circumstances. Admissions Department personnel are available for campus tours seven days a week by appointment: (321) 723-3211 ext. 30040 or toll free (877) 422-2338.

Notification Of Decision:

Once all documentation has been received, the Florida Air Academy Admissions Committee will review the material to determine the candidate’s qualifications for acceptance. Applicants will be promptly notified of the Committee’s decision.

Upon acceptance to the Academy, FAA will email another web site link and password to the email address provided on the On-line Enrollment Agreement.  This will provide access to an online Transition Kit (TK) which details the policies of the Academy and includes the necessary forms which must be completed and submitted before enrollment.

The Transition Kit will need to be completed by all enrolling students, including returning students and students who are currently enrolled in the summer session.

** Upon acceptance, each International applicant will be provided with a Certificate of Enrollment (Immigration Form I-20), the form necessary to obtain a Student Visa (F-1) for entry into the United States.
