How to Apply

 

ADMISSIONS at FAA                                                                                             

Admission to Florida Air Academy comes after a formal review process by the Admissions Committee.  Grades and transcripts from previous schools are required to determine eligibility for enrollment. Letters of reference from Math and English teachers are also required.

A visit to the campus for a personal interview is required. However, a telephone interview may be substituted for the personal interview in some circumstances. Admissions officers are here Monday through Friday from 9 -5  by appointment: (321) 723-3211 ext. 30040 or toll free (877) 422-2338.

Step 1

  •On-line User Agreement (OUA) must be completed and Notarized.
 •
$100 non-refundable application fee is submitted with the Online User Agreement.

Step 2 

 •
Florida Air Staff will email a link for the Online Application/Contract
  

Parents have TWO WEEKS from the date the application is submitted to supply our admissions office with these necessary items:

  
  • Copy of birth certificate or passport
  • Copy of current school Transcripts
  • Copy of SSAT, SLEP, TOEFL results (International Only)
  • Submit Two Letters of Recommendation (English & Math teacher are preferred)
  • Visit The Florida Air Campus and complete the admissions test (phone interview may be substituted for students unable to visit our campus)
   
  *If an International student is working with an Agent, the Agent is responsible for completing the application steps with the parent(s) and ensuring the parents fully understand what is submitted and signed. Parents must sign all documents that require a parent signature; whether physical or electronic. 

Step 3

  

Once application file is reviewed, and if accepted, parents have two weeks to submit these necessary items:

  
  • $2,500 non-refundable tuition deposit ($2,800 for International Students)
  • Complete and Submit electronically the Enrollment Kit (Link is provided in the Letter of Acceptance)
  • Current Health Physical Exam and Immunization Records. 
  • Proof of U.S.  Domestic Insurance Plan. (U.S. insurance may be purchased at www.k12studentinsurance.com.
  All applicants have two weeks to submit the items in step 3 before forfeiting the original application and application fee.
  International Students: Once steps 1, 2, and 3 are complete, Florida Air Academy's Admissions office will process the I-20 form. At this time the student should schedule his/her F-1 Visa interview at his/her local US Embassy/Consulate.
