Financial Aid

Florida Air Academy seeks to enroll qualified students of character despite their financial circumstances. We have a limited amount of need-based financial aid available to assist those deserving but needy students in attending our school. All parents should plan to pay some expense.  Those qualifying for financial aid, however, do not need to pay back the financial aid portion, as it is not a loan.

To determine eligibility, you must enroll your child and demonstrate a commitment to attend. This is accomplished by completing and submitting all application materials and paying the $100 application fee.

The School and Student Services (SSS) process can be accomplished on-line through the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) web site at http://sss.nais.org (FAA's School Code is 3180).  This independent third party review is handled with a high degree of confidentiality. It is impossible for a school to determine aid without this verification of ability.

Once we receive the application materials, fees and the SSS results, our financial aid committee reviews your request. This is a rolling process. The earlier you complete your application, the earlier aid award results can be made. Most awards are announced in May via letter. Financial aid covers tuition and not personal expenses or student bank accounts. Recipients are not eligible for other student bank incentives. All recipients of aid must reapply each year.
