| 1. | Will I be treated differently? No, all female students are held to the same standards, are given the same opportunities and will abide by the same honor code and rules of Florida Air Academy. |
| 2. | Will there be sports available for female cadets? Yes, Florida Air Academy encourages all female students to participate in all sports and extracurricular activities. Swimming, track, cross country, soccer, volleyball, tennis, softball, and basketball are just some of the sports offered. Other sports such as dance can be offered if there is student interest. |
| 3. | How do I communicate with my friends and family? Wi-fi is available at FAA. Students may also have cell phones. |
| 4. | Can I go home on weekends? Yes, we have a bus shuttle service that runs throughout Florida. We are also five minutes away from the Melbourne International Airport and an hour from the Orlando Airport. |
| 5. | If I don't go home, what do I do on weekends? We plan many exciting things to do on the weekends! All students in good standing may go on town leave, to the movies, to the mall and various local activities such as our beautiful beaches (just 8 minutes away!), bowling, ice skating, go-karts, etc. Also offered are trips to nearby major attractions such as Disney World, Universal Studios, and other Florida theme and water parks. |
| 6. | May my friends and family visit me on campus? Yes, we encourage parents and family members not only to visit but attend all Florida Air Academy events. Friends may also visit during visiting hours. |
